Please join us on March 31st for an intimate evening with best-selling author, Lawrence Hill in support of Crossroads International’s work to alleviate poverty and advance the rights of women and girls. Due to the ongoing concerns around COVID-19, Lawrence Hill will be joining the event virtually.

Lawrence Hill is the award-winning author of The Illegal and The Book of Negroes, a member of the Order of Canada, and has volunteered overseas with Crossroads in Niger, Mali, Cameroon and eSwatini. He will talk about how his volunteer experience with Crossroads has influenced his writing, and why there has never been a greater need for Canadians to act as global citizens in a world where the rights of women and girls are increasingly under threat due to the devastating socio-economic impacts of COVID-19.
During the evening, guests will have the unique opportunity to learn about Lawrence Hill’s newest novel, Beatrice and Croc Harry, which was just launched by Harper Collins in January 2022.
You’ll have a chance to mingle with like-minded supporters like you and learn more about the work of Crossroads to empower women and girls. In addition, there will be an engaging Q&A session after the presentation.
